Zappy

Hello from Pennsylvania.

Zippy likes his new home. We have open space behind us and across the street. Zippy has gotten away from us on many occassions, so he normally heads back there. The open space has really tall grass, and sometimes you can see deer back there and hawks circiling above hunting. Zippy thinks he's a big time hunter when he gets back there, so he's hard to catch. I thought we were going to have to chase him to Ohio once. Anyways, on one of his trips out he almost got whacked by a car. Almost being inches. He was crossing the street from one open space to another. Ainsley has a tendency to let him out, and he always seems to get away from Jenna. We thought long and hard about getting an invisible fence, and had decided to put it off until the spring. Long story short, we decided to get one because we wanted Zippy to have some freedom and, most importantly, be safe. It was installed on Thursday and Zippy is doing great. He honestly seems much happier to be out in the yard playing with the kids without being tied down. He doesn't go near the yard line, so he is already learning his boundary. Here's a picture of him lounging around.

No snow yet, much to our disappointment. We are all anxious to see how Zippy likes it.

Merry Christmas, ya'all.
