Which one do you like?

Since we had already thrown away the Fox valley Shopper, I called my mom and asked her to look in the pets section. Sure enough, there were two ads for lab puppies. One sounded like it was geared more towards show dogs, so we went with the other one. I wrote down all the information and gave it to Heather. Seconds after hanging up the phone, she was calling about the puppies. It turns out that Heather knew the family. All of the female dogs were spoken for, but there were 3 males to choose from. We quickly piled the family into the car and drove over there.
When we got there, we were taken downstairs to see the puppies. There were two yellow labs still available, and one black. There was also a chocolate lab and another yellow lab, but those were being kept by the two breeders.
We took the dogs outside to play, as we tried to choose which one we wanted. Heather was interested in the black puppy, while I was interested in a yellow. Black labs seem to be everywhere, so I wanted something a little different. While she played with the black lab, a yellow pup started to follow me around. Whenever I squatted down, he would come and lay underneath me. He chewed on my fingers and my shoe strings. Although he was probably just following me because my big ass provided lots of shade, I decided that I had found my companion. I could tell Heather wanted the black lab, but she thought the one I had picked was cute, too. Heather took a few pictures, paid for him, and we were off. It would be about 2 weeks before he is old enough for us to take him home.
