After leaving me in the house all afternoon, my owners came home with some round orange thing-a-ma-jobs. They put them on the front porch.
We'll, since they had not played with me, I decided to create my own fun. These orange things have teeth handles on them. They were made perfectly for me to be able to pick them up. the only thing is they can break. I was walking around with one of them in my mouth when the handle broke. I'll be damned (can I say that) if it didn't start rolling down the yard towards the street. Once it hits the street, it takes a lazy turn to the left and rolls down the street. I don't mean a few feet. It rolled to the end of the street.
The momma monster comes out and is asking where the pumpkin is at (so that's what it's called). I just looked down the street.
Where's the pumpkin, Jenna?
I don't know.
{me looking down the street}
Jenna! Where's the pumpkin?
I said I don't know.
{me looking down the street}
Jenna, it didn't just disappear!
I didn't touch it!!

Finally somebody noticed what I was doing. Their eyes followed my gaze to the pumpkin. It was sitting nicely at the end of the street next to the stop sign.
I wonder what the neighbors thought as a pumpkin rolled down the street.
Notice the broken handle?
